Edward Steichen, with whom Rodin had collaborated since 1901 . These pictorial artists made numerous portraits of Rodin and some of them were published in Camera Work as early as 1903 , the year the magazine was created. Paul Haviland, a business man with French origins, was also one the participants in the photo-secession: he became the main patron of the New York gallery in 1908 , where he presented an exhibit of his own pictures. 1.
