In this sheet, we can readily identify the sources from the top to the bottom: at center, the Lorenzo de Medicis statue surrounded by figures of Dusk and Dawn and, at the bottom, Daylight; on the verso in graphite, the Descent from the Cross by Michelangelo along with several silhouettes.
