Arlette Sérullaz is Conservateur général honoraire in the Department of Graphic Arts at the Louvre Museum. From 1984 until 2006, she was Director of the musée national Eugène Delacroix. Until 2017, she was in charge of the cur- riculum at the Ecole du Louvre and the Institut d’études supérieures des arts. Madame Sérullaz is the author of numerous publications on 19th century French and European art, and is a specialist in the work of Delacroix and of J. L. David.
